Steelers sign former NFL player, actor, photographer for Steelers’ jerseys

NFL Media’s Josh Katz wrote Thursday that the Pittsburgh Steelers have signed former NFL players, actors and photographers for their jerseys.

Former NFL quarterback Brett Favre, for example, will wear the Steelers’ new black jersey for the first time in the season opener.

The Steelers also will wear a new blue-and-gold color scheme, with the first wave of jerseys expected to hit the shelves Friday.

The team has also announced it will unveil a new design for its uniforms on Monday, with jerseys featuring new images and an expanded front with a “W” and a “T” to reflect the team’s new logo.
